Position: Senior Manager.

Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer.

Location: Kuala Belait.


Role Purpose:

The Senior Manager is responsible for providing independent technical, operational, financial and strategic analysis to support the CEO’s decision-making. The role serves as a key advisory function to review management reports, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure alignment with the Group’s strategic objectives.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Strategic & Technical Advisory:

Review technical, operational, financial, and management reports submitted by divisions and subsidiaries.

Provide critical analysis, insights, and recommendations to the CEO on strategic, technical, and business matters.

Identify risks, gaps, and performance issues and propose mitigation measures.

Translate complex technical information into concise executive-level briefs for the CEO.


  1. Performance & Governance Oversight:

Monitor corporate and project performance against strategic plans, KPIs, and Management directives.

Ensure alignment with Group strategy, governance frameworks, and Board expectations.

Support CEO in preparing executive summaries, briefing notes, and strategic papers for Board and Management meetings.


  1. Coordination & Follow-Up:

Coordinate with division heads, project teams, and corporate functions on CEO’s instructions and strategic initiatives.

Track action items and ensure timely execution of CEO’s directives.

Act as a liaison between the CEO’s Office and key internal stakeholders.


  1. Corporate Strategy Support:

Support strategic planning, business development initiatives, and major investment or project evaluations.

Conduct high-level reviews of proposals, feasibility studies, and technical papers before submission to the CEO.


Qualifications & Experience:


Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related discipline.

Master’s degree (MBA, Engineering, or Management) is an added advantage.


Experience:

Minimum 10–15 years of experience in technical, project, corporate strategy, or senior management roles.

Experience in energy, oil & gas, infrastructure, or investment projects is highly preferred.

Proven experience in senior-level reporting, governance, and strategic advisory roles.
