Job Title: Production Supervisor
Reports to: Floating Production Unit Master
Job Purpose:
- Responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of production facilities to achieve production targets while protecting personnel, the environment, and asset integrity.
- The role ensures day-to-day execution of production activities in accordance with the Company management systems, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Financial Perspective:
• Support achievement of production targets to maximize revenue and minimize deferment.
• Contribute to OPEX control by efficient use of utilities, chemicals, consumables, and manpower.
• Minimize production losses through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and equipment care.
• Support cost-effective operations by reducing rework, flaring, shutdowns, and unplanned downtime.
• Provide accurate operational inputs for production reporting and cost tracking.
• Responsible for ensuring the asset's continuous operations and meeting the required contractual uptime.
• Manage contractual, ORA CAPEX, and commercial in accordance with the assigned LOA.
Principal Accountabilities
Implementation of Management System:
• Implement and comply with the Safety Management System.
• Ensure operating procedures, work instructions, and risk assessments are followed.
• Participate in audits, inspections, and management system reviews.
• Report incidents, near misses, and non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are closed.
Crew Management:
• Supervise, coach, and develop production operators and technicians.
• Ensure crew competence, certification, and task readiness.
• Manage shift handovers, toolbox talks, and daily production briefings.
• Promote strong safety leadership and operational discipline.
Control of Work:
• Enforce Permit to Work (PTW), Isolation, SIMOPS, and energy control requirements.
• Ensure work is planned, risk-assessed, and executed safely.
• Monitor ongoing activities to prevent conflicts and unsafe conditions.
• Stop work when unsafe conditions are identified.
Key Challenges:
• Good and fast judgments to deal with operational matters / critical and emergency situations, e.g., fire, pollution, whereby prompt/accurate advice /decision is vital to avert major disasters.
• Ensure a high level of safety standards to prevent untoward incidents/accidents, which could be very damaging to business image and expose the company to insurance liability.
• Managing a diversified group of personnel from different nationalities, ethnicities, languages, and religions, and educational backgrounds, working toward a common goal.
• Conversant with different rules and regulations governing the operations and maintenance of the floating asset.
• Protect the company's interest during the tenure of the Contract period according to the Contract requirement and achieve the intended economic plan.

Experience:
• Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience in Marine and Oil & Gas Operations
• Experience in a managerial/supervisory position in marine or offshore or project delivery related to the Oil & Gas industry, preferably in Floating Production FPU/ FPSO/FSO operations in SEA will be an advantage.
• Experience with FPSO/floater operations and process plant systems (preferred).
• Experience working with PETRONAS as the client will be an advantage.
Qualifications:
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline, preferably majoring in Chemical/Petrochemical, or Process Engineering, or Petroleum Engineering, or equivalent.
Or;
• Certificate of Competency (CoC):
o Class 2 Second Engineer >3000 kW Unlimited (minimum Class 4 Watchkeeping Engineer
>750 kW Unlimited), or
o Class 1 Chief Officer >3000 kW Unlimited (minimum Class 3 Watchkeeping Officer >750 kW Unlimited).
• Possession of the above CoC qualifications will be considered an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of EPC/EPCIC execution, operations governance, O&M operator interfaces, and marine/flag/class requirements
• Fluent English (written and spoken) required.
