Pest Control Technician (SMS-FMS)

Job Title: Pest Control Technician
Reporting to: Project Supervisor
Scope of work:
To diagnose and control pest problems, such as those involving roaches, termites and small rodents. They perform inspections and form strategies to eliminate pests. Technicians use a variety of pesticides consisting of toxic gasses or chemical solutions to solve pest nuisances for Onshore and Offshore vicinities. The work is aligned by Safety First protocol and must abide by all QHSE Policies and standards set.
Technical Responsibilities:
▌ Determining the kind of treatment required to eliminate a particular type of pest
▌ Advising clients on the kind of treatment required to eliminate identified pests
▌ Inspecting clients’ premises to identify pest problems
▌ Filling out all necessary paperwork upon completion of each job together with a report to supervisor
▌ Communicating with office staff in order to schedule services with customers
▌ Applying suitable pesticides to infested areas by following the label instructions and complying with Safety procedures
▌ Complying with Company HSE policies
▌ Responding to clients requests for various pest control services
▌ Identifying opportunities to sell additional company services and products where it is deemed fit
▌ Adjust chemical mixtures according to the size of the infested areas.
▌ Identifying Potential Breeding grounds or sources of pest promotion on site.
▌ Disinfection and Sanitization of Offshore and Onshore Locations Via Spraying, Wiping, Fogging etc. While maintaining SOP and Safety precautions.
Additional Duties:
▌ Reporting Daily to OCD Office and Maintain Daily Activity Report Form
▌ OCD Staff house Caretaker and Focal Point
▌ Office and Staff house Maintenance work (Grass Cutting / Plumbing)
▌ Onshore & Offshore Maintenance Crew (as and When Required)
▌ Ad-Hoc General Cleaning
▌ Ad-Hoc Helper/Loader
HSE Responsibilities:
▌ Comply with Serikandi Company policies and procedures
▌ Comply with 12 Life Saving Rules
