Marker/Fitter - Offshore (OMIS Division)

Job Title: Marker/Fitter - Offshore

Division: OMIS Division

Reporting to: Mechanical Leadman

Responsibilities:

1. Directly responsible to the Mechanical Leadman.
2. He/She is responsible for setting up, measuring marking off, cutting, edge preparation and alignment of all pipe work and structural items. He must be able draw ISO Metric drawing, understanding of PEFS and carry out simple arithmetic calculations, and shall have knowledge of line pipes, fitting and pressure ratings. Marker/Fitter should be familiar with GRE/GRP materials fit up.
3. He/She shall familiar and hands on experience on hydro testing operations. He/She will be fully conversant with COMPANY’s Safety and Permit to work procedures

Qualification & Competencies:

1. Will have served a recognized trade apprenticeship and be capable of passing the COMPANY’s G.2 trade test.
2. He/She will be capable of interpreting and developing isometric and P & ID drawings. Will be fully conversant with the alignment of equipment and the hydro testing of systems.
3. He/She shall have minimum of 8 years experience; 4 of which will have been spent oil & Gas Industries.
4. He/She shall be able to read, write and speak English and/or Malay.
