Responsibilities:
▌Logistics Planning and Coordination:
-Develop and implement logistics plans to support the timely delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies required for the solar project.
-Coordinate with suppliers, transport companies, and internal teams to ensure materials are delivered according to project schedules.
-Monitor and track shipments to ensure they arrive on time and in good condition.
▌Inventory Management:
-Maintain accurate records of all inventory, including equipment, materials, and supplies at the project site.
-Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to prevent delays in project activities due to shortages.
-Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and accountability of materials.
▌Supply Chain Management:
-Work closely with procurement and purchasing teams to source and secure materials and services required for the project.
-Negotiate with suppliers and logistics providers to obtain the best pricing and delivery terms.
-Manage relationships with vendors to ensure reliable and consistent supply of materials.
▌Transportation and Fleet Management:
-Organize and coordinate the transportation of equipment and materials to and from the project site, ensuring efficient and cost-effective routing.
-Oversee the fleet of vehicles used for logistics and ensure their maintenance, safety, and compliance with regulations.
-Ensure all transportation activities comply with local regulations and safety standards.
▌Customs and Compliance:
-Handle customs clearance procedures for imported equipment and materials, ensuring compliance with Brunei’s import/export regulations.
-Prepare and process all necessary shipping and customs documentation to facilitate smooth transportation of goods.
-Coordinate with customs authorities and regulatory bodies to resolve any issues that may arise during the import/export process.
▌Site Logistics and Material Handling:
-Coordinate on-site material handling, including the storage, loading, and unloading of equipment and supplies.
-Ensure that storage areas are organized, accessible, and meet safety and environmental standards.
-Oversee the disposal of waste materials in compliance with project and environmental regulations.
▌Reporting and Documentation:
-Maintain detailed records of all logistics activities, including shipments, deliveries, inventory, and transportation.
-Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, inventory status, and transportation costs for project management.
-Document and report any logistical challenges, delays, or issues, along with proposed solutions
