Job Title: Deputy Contract Manager

Company: Serikandi Oilfield Services Sdn Bhd

Division: Offshore Maintenance Integrated Services (OMIS) Division.

Reporting to: Contract Manager


Scope:

The Deputy Contract Manager reports directly to the Contract Manager. He / She is responsible to act on SCOPE instruction from the Contract Manager and provide a dedicated process support to the Contract Manager in overall CONTRACT management and administration. His / Her general duties are similar to those of the Contract Manager but with diminished responsibility and authority.


Responsibilities:

  1. He / She shall ensure that all associated SCOPE activities are carried out in accordance with the COMPANY's requirements and should ensure that the SCOPE is adequately estimated, placed, supervised and executed to the satisfaction of the COMPANY/CONTRACTOR.
  2. He / She shall ensure satisfactory quality control measures, and coordinate all administrative matters, including mate rial procurement, financial issues and should be the CONTRACTOR's focal point for any communication with the COMPANY, and on any matter related to CONTRACT management. He / She should also be able to communicate with all levels of CONTRACT and COMPANY PERSONNEL.
  3. He / She is responsible for the continuous improvement in HSSE for offshore activities. Participate fully (if required) in incident investigations and implementation of the recommended actions, including close out of the incident. He/ She shall inculcate a high level of safety culture among subordinates through personal safety initiative s jointly with HSE Coordinator.
  4. He / She shall liaise with Planning, Offshore, Materials Handling and Fabrication function s to ensure campaign deliverables are available onsite within the agreed lead time.
  5. He / She shall also participate actively with Offshore and Planning functions for the reductions of oil/ gas shut-downs.
  6. He / She shall represent the CONTRACTOR and shall be conversant and responsible for the administration of all aspects of the CONTRACT, including but not limited to:

i. Engineering aspects.

ii. Routine commercial administration.

iii. Performance, including Workmanship, productivity, material s, quality

iv. Health , Safety and Environment (HSE).

v. Manpower select ion, qualifications and management .

vi. SCOPE planning.

vii. Maintenance of CONTRACT documentation, drawings and records.

viii. Local Personnel Development Program and overall LBD management

  1. He/ She shall also ensure that Bruneian Citizens are offered every opportunity for job progression and access to the industry.


Qualification & Competencies:

He / She must be fully conversant with latest planning techniques and have a good working knowledge of all pertinent codes and practices, statutory regulations.

He/ She shall be able to read, write and speak English

He/ She shall be computer-literate - familiar with word processing packages and spreadsheets.
