Purpose of position:

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the Site Supervisor will be responsible for supervising civil works on site. Alternatively, the PTW holder will be responsible for signing necessary permits to carry the work and liaise with clients as and when required.

Responsibilities:

▌ Ensure a consistently high standard of work is produced in accordance with specifications/instructions and quality standards through regular quality inspections.

▌ Direct and supervise day to day operations of subcontractors, ensuring appliance of common operational procedures.

▌ Prepare site daily report with manpower, equipment and weather chart.

▌ Assign manpower as required for the tasks given by superior.

▌ Ensure material requisitions are issued in adequate time to achieve the plan.

▌ Schedule, control and monitor all sites and materials on a weekly basis.

▌ Ensure all work is completed as per plan, able to read drawing, fabricate formwork, rebar, and check dimensions and levels.

▌ Liaise with Contracts Manager/Project Engineer, client’s CSR, and Contract Holder if required.

▌ Carrying out safety inspections and fulfilling the health, safety and welfare responsibilities as detailed in the Company’s Policy and in compliance with client’s standard.

▌ Maintain quality control procedures in accordance with ISO 9001.

▌ Create and maintain good relations with clients, management team and neighbours as well as any other stakeholders.

▌ Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of own activity related to project such as daily reports, man-hours and PAKAT, etc.

▌ Fulfil company matrix requirements, undertaking all relevant training and development activities as required.

▌ Apply permit to work relates to work assign to the site supervisor.
